Best UK PPC Agencies: A Sector-by-Sector List Assessed by an SEO Agency

We’ve shortlisted 10 of the best UK PPC agencies by the industries they know best, so you can find a partner with relevant sector experience rather than a generic paid-media pitch.

Best UK PPC Agencies: A Sector-by-Sector List Assessed by an SEO Agency

Choosing the best PPC agency isn't really about finding the agency with the most awards, the biggest team or the longest client list.

It's about finding one that understands what you're selling.

A Google Ads campaign for a B2B SaaS company with a six-month sales cycle has almost nothing in common with Google Shopping for a fashion retailer. Legal PPC has different economics from travel. Healthcare advertisers face restrictions that most eCommerce teams never encounter. In iGaming, regulatory and compliance knowledge can be as important as PPC expertise itself.

So rather than rank ten generalist agencies that all claim to work with everyone, we've approached this differently.

Each agency below has been selected for an industry where it has demonstrable experience and a PPC proposition that makes sense for that particular type of business.

RankBrain doesn't provide standalone PPC management, so we have no reason to put ourselves on the list. We specialise in SEO and AI search, although we regularly work alongside paid-media teams and agencies as part of wider search strategies.

Best UK PPC agencies at a glance

The numbers are primarily for navigation rather than a claim that one agency is universally better than another. The right choice depends heavily on your sector, sales model, budget and internal capabilities.

1. Upraw Media – Best PPC agency for B2B SaaS

Upraw Media is the clearest specialist on this list.

The agency focuses exclusively on B2B SaaS paid media rather than running a generalist PPC business and simply including software companies among a much wider client base. Its work spans Google Ads, paid social, landing pages, CRO, analytics and CRM-connected attribution.

That matters because B2B SaaS PPC is rarely won by generating the cheapest possible lead.

A £40 MQL that never reaches sales is more expensive than a £200 lead that turns into a six-figure opportunity. Upraw builds measurement around that distinction, using downstream CRM signals, lead quality and pipeline data alongside conventional PPC metrics.

The agency also takes responsibility for what happens after the click. Landing pages, messaging and conversion optimisation sit alongside campaign management, which removes one of the most common gaps between paid-media agencies and internal marketing teams.

Its work for ERP SaaS company Xentral is a good example. Upraw helped support expansion from DACH into the UK and US, doubling PPC conversion rates, reducing cost per MQL by 80% and increasing MQL-to-SQL conversion by 17%.

Specialist industry: B2B SaaS

Best for: Post-PMF and growth-stage B2B SaaS companies that want paid media judged on qualified pipeline rather than lead volume.

Core strengths: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, paid social, SaaS landing pages, CRO, analytics, CRM integration and offline conversion tracking.

Potential downside: If you want SEO, content marketing and broader brand services from the same agency, Upraw is intentionally not built for that.

2. ROAR Digital Marketing – Best PPC agency for professional services

ROAR Digital Marketing is a strong option for professional-services businesses where a small number of high-quality enquiries can be worth considerably more than a large volume of generic leads.

Professional-services PPC can be deceptively difficult. Search volumes may be relatively low, individual clicks expensive and the difference between a commercially relevant enquiry and a useless one significant.

A consultant, architect, HR provider or specialist B2B firm doesn't necessarily need hundreds of form fills. It needs the right decision-makers making contact.

ROAR has a dedicated professional-services search proposition covering management consulting, IT consultancy, HR services, architecture and design, project management, business consulting and PR and communications.

Its PPC approach is built around high-intent search behaviour and reaching business decision-makers, with click-fraud protection also used to protect spend on expensive B2B terms.

Specialist industry: Professional services

Best for: Consultancies and specialist B2B service firms where lead quality matters significantly more than raw volume.

Core strengths: Google Ads, B2B search intent, decision-maker targeting, analytics and click-fraud protection.

Potential downside: ROAR also provides SEO and wider search-marketing services, so businesses looking specifically for a narrowly scoped PPC-only partner may not need its broader proposition.

3. eComOne – Best PPC agency for eCommerce

eComOne is an eCommerce performance agency rather than a general PPC shop.

That's an important distinction because eCommerce PPC has its own commercial levers. Product feeds, stock availability, margins, Merchant Center, Shopping campaigns, Performance Max and new-versus-returning customer economics can all have more impact on profitability than conventional keyword optimisation.

The agency works with established online retailers and supports Google Ads, Shopping, Performance Max and paid social alongside wider eCommerce performance marketing.

Its approach can go down to product and SKU level, which matters for retailers with large catalogues where treating every product as equally valuable quickly wastes budget.

eComOne's published work includes more than £2 million in revenue generated from ads for Heinnie Haynes and substantial paid-advertising growth across other eCommerce clients.

Specialist industry: eCommerce

Best for: Established online retailers scaling Google Shopping, Performance Max and paid social.

Core strengths: Google Shopping, Performance Max, Merchant Center, product-feed optimisation, paid social and commercially focused bidding.

Potential downside: Businesses selling high-value services rather than products won't benefit from much of the agency's deepest expertise.

4. Bind Media – Best PPC agency for fashion, beauty and D2C

Bind Media combines paid media with performance creative and measurement, making it particularly relevant to consumer brands where advertising performance depends on more than bidding and account structure.

For fashion, beauty and D2C businesses, the volume and quality of creative testing can have a significant impact on performance across Meta, Google, TikTok and other paid platforms.

Bind's paid-media capability spans paid search, Shopping, paid social, Amazon and programmatic, supported by an in-house performance creative offer.

That combination is useful for brands where paid search and paid social need to work together rather than being managed as disconnected channels.

The agency is also a Google Premier Partner and has won multiple UK, European and international paid-media and search awards.

Specialist industry: Fashion, beauty & D2C

Best for: Consumer brands where creative testing, paid social, Shopping and paid search need to operate as one performance system.

Core strengths: Paid search, paid social, Shopping, Performance Max, performance creative, CRO and measurement.

Potential downside: Smaller businesses wanting straightforward Google Ads management without creative or measurement support may be buying more agency than they need.

5. Receptional – Best PPC agency for iGaming

Receptional is one of the clearest vertical specialists on this list.

The agency now focuses on iGaming, with services spanning paid search and social alongside SEO, content, CRO and measurement.

That sector depth matters.

Betting, casino, lottery and related businesses operate under advertising restrictions and market-specific regulations that most PPC agencies rarely have to think about. Platform compliance, licensing, responsible-gambling requirements and acquisition economics all influence how campaigns can be structured and scaled.

Receptional has worked in digital marketing since 1999 and now operates across numerous international iGaming markets, with paid media built specifically around regulated acquisition.

Specialist industry: iGaming

Best for: Betting, casino, lottery and other regulated gaming operators.

Core strengths: Paid search, paid social, international acquisition, regulated-market compliance, CRO and measurement.

Potential downside: Receptional's specialisation is now sufficiently narrow that businesses outside iGaming will generally find a more appropriate agency elsewhere on this list.

6. Up Digital – Best PPC agency for legal services

Up Digital is a Bristol PPC specialist with significant experience in legal marketing.

Its founders have worked with law firms including RWK Goodman, Osborne Clarke, Hodge Jones & Allen and Burges Salmon, with experience spanning competitive areas of legal search.

Legal PPC presents a specific commercial challenge. CPCs can be extremely high, meaning poor conversion rates and irrelevant enquiries become expensive very quickly.

The actual business outcome isn't a click or even necessarily an enquiry. It's a qualified prospective client who becomes a viable matter.

Up Digital combines PPC with conversion optimisation and analytics, allowing the agency to work on the path between the expensive click and the eventual enquiry rather than treating landing-page performance as somebody else's problem.

Specialist industry: Legal

Best for: Law firms using paid search to generate qualified enquiries across competitive practice areas.

Core strengths: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, conversion optimisation, landing pages and analytics.

Potential downside: Larger law firms wanting SEO, PR, content, brand and PPC from one legal-marketing supplier may prefer a broader full-service agency.

7. Adido Digital – Best PPC agency for travel and tourism

Adido Digital has a particularly strong specialism in travel.

Travel PPC has its own rhythm. Demand changes with seasonality, destinations, school holidays, pricing, availability and external events. Customers may research several destinations and providers across multiple devices before finally booking.

Adido works with travel agencies, tour operators, villa specialists, cruise businesses, airports, holiday parks and other companies across the sector.

Its travel PPC offering covers search, paid social, display, remarketing, programmatic, Shopping and account automation, with campaigns designed around the way travellers actually research and book.

The agency's travel client base includes brands such as Fred Olsen, Simpson Travel, Southampton Airport, Not Just Travel and Yellow Zebra Safaris.

Specialist industry: Travel & tourism

Best for: Tour operators, travel agencies, accommodation businesses and other travel brands where paid search needs to reflect complex booking behaviour and seasonality.

Core strengths: Google Ads, paid social, remarketing, programmatic, travel PPC strategy and booking-led campaign optimisation.

Potential downside: Adido is a broader travel digital agency rather than a PPC-only specialist, so businesses with strong internal SEO, web and analytics teams may not need its full range of services.

8. AGENCY Bristol – Best PPC agency for healthcare, Pharma and MedTech

AGENCY Bristol is the most explicitly healthcare-focused paid-media agency on this list.

Healthcare PPC is one of the areas where sector experience genuinely matters.

Advertising policies, clinical claims, patient targeting and the distinction between healthcare-professional and patient campaigns create risks that don't exist in most conventional PPC accounts. A campaign can make commercial sense and still fail platform or regulatory review if the agency doesn't understand the environment.

AGENCY's healthcare PPC work covers patient acquisition, HCP engagement and self-pay healthcare across Google, Meta, LinkedIn and programmatic.

It also incorporates clinical review, claims clearance and conversion tracking, which is particularly relevant for Pharma, MedTech and medical businesses operating in tightly controlled categories.

Its service model ranges from PPC audits and training through collaborative campaign management to fully managed multi-platform and multi-market programmes.

Specialist industry: Healthcare, Pharma & MedTech

Best for: Healthcare organisations that need paid acquisition managed by a team familiar with clinical, advertising and platform restrictions.

Core strengths: Healthcare PPC, patient acquisition, HCP campaigns, Google Ads, multi-platform media, compliance and conversion funnels.

Potential downside: If you're selling an ordinary B2B or consumer product without healthcare-specific regulatory requirements, the agency's deepest expertise won't be particularly relevant.

9. Hallam – Best PPC agency for FinTech

Hallam is a strong choice for FinTech businesses dealing with two challenges simultaneously: ambitious customer-acquisition targets and a highly regulated advertising environment.

Its dedicated FinTech proposition covers paid media alongside organic search, brand strategy and international growth.

For paid media specifically, Hallam focuses on campaigns that can operate within financial-advertising constraints while still generating pipeline across different buyer segments and territories.

Its published FinTech work includes omnichannel paid media across seven markets and a LinkedIn lead-generation campaign that reduced cost per lead by 15%.

Hallam also has a broader B2B paid-media practice built around longer sales cycles, buying committees, CRM integration and pipeline measurement rather than simply optimising towards cheap conversions.

Specialist industry: FinTech

Best for: FinTech and financial-technology companies running paid acquisition across multiple markets or complex B2B buying journeys.

Core strengths: Google Ads, LinkedIn, regulated-market paid media, international campaigns, B2B demand generation, CRM integration and pipeline measurement.

Potential downside: Hallam is a substantial integrated agency rather than a boutique PPC-only specialist, so smaller FinTech businesses needing straightforward account management may find the proposition broader than necessary.

10. Honcho – Best PPC agency for automotive

Honcho has worked in automotive search since 2016 and supports dealership groups and automotive brands across PPC, SEO, paid social and digital PR.

Automotive is a particularly good example of an industry where generic PPC structures can struggle.

Customers move between manufacturers, dealership groups, marketplaces, individual models, new and used inventory, finance, servicing and local searches. Stock can change constantly, while buying journeys are usually longer than conventional retail.

Honcho structures automotive PPC around high-intent search demand, inventory, dealership locations and commercial priorities, with Search, Performance Max and feed-based campaigns all part of its offer.

Its Connected Search approach also allows PPC to work alongside organic visibility through the wider vehicle-research journey.

Specialist industry: Automotive

Best for: Dealership groups, automotive retailers and brands with complex inventories, multiple locations and long consideration journeys.

Core strengths: Paid search, Performance Max, feed-based advertising, paid social, automotive SEO and multi-location search strategy.

Potential downside: Automotive brands wanting PPC managed entirely independently of SEO, digital PR and wider connected-search strategy may not need the broader model.

How to choose the right PPC agency

Start with sector experience, not awards.

Ask each agency to show you recent work for a business with similar economics to yours. A brilliant fashion PPC agency is not automatically qualified to manage enterprise SaaS demand generation, and a SaaS specialist may have very little idea how to manage a 50,000-SKU Shopping feed.

Then look at measurement.

For eCommerce, reporting should eventually reach revenue, margin, contribution and customer acquisition rather than stopping at platform ROAS.

For SaaS, professional services, legal and other lead-generation businesses, the agency should be able to follow leads beyond the original form submission. A campaign generating a high volume of MQLs can still be a failure if none of them become qualified opportunities or customers.

The same principle applies in regulated industries. Healthcare, FinTech and iGaming businesses should establish whether the agency genuinely understands the advertising environment or simply lists the sector on a landing page.

Finally, find out who actually runs the account.

Ask who conducts the sales process, who builds the strategy and who will still be working directly on the account six months later. There is often a significant difference between the expertise presented during an agency pitch and the people ultimately responsible for delivery.

There isn't one best PPC agency in the UK.

There is a best-fit agency for your sector, stage, budget and commercial model.

Start there.
